Salisbury Road is approximately 2 miles south west of York City Centre and may be reached via many major routes.
 
For example:-
 
  • Leave the A1 at A64 (signposted to Tadcaster/York/Leeds). Bear left towards Tadcaster/York.
  • Follow A64 until you see the A1237 (signposted to Copmanthorpe, Askham Bryan, Acomb).
  • Take this exit off the A64 and then at roundabout take 2nd exit on to the A1237.
  • Follow A1237 until you reach the roundabout with the A59 (signposted Harrogate to the left and York to the right).
  • Take 3rd exit off roundabout towards York (there is a Shell Garage on your right).
  • Keep straight on through traffic lights, notice "The Ainsty" pub on your right and the fire station on your left.
  • At the next traffic lights turn LEFT. This road goes over a railway line and you pass the RSPCA on your left.
  • At the next traffic lights turn RIGHT and we are about 100 to 150 yards on your left.
     
     
     
Directions to the Hereford Branch

 


  • Howton is approxiamately 10 miles south west of Hereford and approximately 14 miles north east of Abergavenny and served by A465 trunk road
  • Travelling from Hereford take the A465 Abergavenny Road, passing through the hamlet of Wormbridge
  • After passing the right hand turn to Abbey Dore, continue on the A465 for approximately one mile.
  • When the road bends to the left, turn left at the entrance to Howton Farm, marked "Howton", and take the first turning left thereafter
  •   The purpose built building is to be found at the end of the drive, after passing through a stone gateway

  • On the A49 at Woofferton (between Leominster and Ludlow), take the B4362 toward Presteigne
  • Ths road is found between the Solway Arms and the Little Chef/Travelodge
  •  After 100 metres, take the second possible left, onto a farm premises with industrial units.
  •  The Minster Veterinary Practice occupies the penultimate unit on the left hand side, opposite a cattle shed
