Our nursing team run regular clinics to look after the general health of your pet.
Our student Veterinary Nurse Sally Whitehead is currently running the puppy training classes.

We hold nursing clinics at out Copmanthorpe, Crockley Hill and Willow branch surgeries. We aim to provide the best care your pet needs from their junior to senior years.
The following clinics are free of charge.
(Medicines and other products are chargeable).
• Removal of stitches
• Post-operative checks
• Dietary advice
• Weight checks post neutering
• Weight reduction clinics
• Flea and worming advice
• Dental care advice
• Pre - vaccination clinics (includes a months free insurance cover with Pet Plan)
• Advice and health check at 2nd vaccination
• Insurance advice
• Acquisition of a new pet.
• Administration of worming tablets
• Senior Clinics – general health checks for our older companions

The following clinics do carry a fee:
• Claw clipping (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds)
• Micro-chipping
• Bandage changes
• Monthly worming of puppies/kittens until 6 months of age
• Puppy Socialisation Classes
• Puppy Clicker Training Classes

Tracey Pulleyn VN
Tracey has worked at the practice since 1996, completing her training in January 2001 to become a fully Qualified Veterinary Nurse. She overseas the nurses clinics working alongside the other nurses, providing services such as nutritional advice, claw clips and advice on your new puppy or kitten, amongst others!
On a regular basis she participates in puppy classes for the newly vaccinated puppies at the practice, which provides them with a supervised chance to socialise with other puppies, it also provides the owners time for questions with regarding their puppies health and well-being.
Alongside these responsibilities Tracey has also achieved a City and Guilds in Nursing of Exotic Species and a foundation course in herpetology (Study of snakes and reptiles), is a pet insurance adviser and has completed a Dental Leadership course.
When she has time outside of her work-related interest she enjoys horse riding, fishing, walking with her dog “Logie” and enjoying a glass of fine wine with her cat “Boots” |
