We would ask you please, if at all possible, to bring your pet to one of our surgeries. Home visits can be time consuming for the vet, and therefore, expensive. Also, far better facilities exist at all of the surgeries for treating pets, particularly in emergencies. Payment in full is due and required at the time of treatment. This policy allows us to keep admin costs to a minimum and avoids surcharges for issuing accounts. We accept cash, cheques with valid bankers' cards and most major credit and debit cards.
When you receive your veterinary bill remember that your pet's doctor is running a small business and is responsible for the building, equipment, staff salaries and training etc. Like any business, VAT has to be paid and no National Health Service exists for animals.
Insuring your pets against illness gives you peace of mind that you can have your pet treated with the most modern and effective veterinary surgery or medicine without having to worry about cost. Pets should also be insured for third party damage.
