MVP Training Department
Progressive Poultry Training
In April 2008, The Minster Veterinary Practice created a training department to research, create and deliver training to meet the needs of staff in all departments and practice clients.
We secured funding from RDPE LANDSKILLS programme for England to deliver much needed training to the pultry sector of the UK. We currently deliver training in Yorkshire, Humberside, North East and more recently the East & West Midlands.
The training department is thriving and we have recently re-located to larger premises at Askham Bryan College where we continue to do training for Broiler, Layer, Duck and Turkey producers throughout the UK. We also run smallholder and hobbykeeper courses and are hoping to co-ordinate training in other areas of livestock as well as more specialised breeds as Alpacas.
