Don McMillan BVM&S MRCVS
Don qualified from Edinburgh in 1984. He gained experience in all aspects of Veterinary medicine in the north east of England and New Zealand before settling in York in 1990, where he now concentrates his time in the small animal and farm departments, working mainly from the Haxby and Salisbury Road surgery.
Don is married, is father to three boys, has a dog called Fizz, a three legged cat called Dusty, a selection of chickens and a varying number of Shetland sheep. When not working he enjoys all things outdoors.

Tim Shearman BSC BVMS CertVC MRCVS
Tim graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 2000, having already gained a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology in 1995 from the University of Bristol. Initially Tim worked in a rural, predominantly small animal practice before joining The Minster Veterinary Practice in 2002. Tim became a practice Director in 2010. In 2009 Tim was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology after a 5-year period of study.
In his spare time Tim enjoys restoring cars and hill-walking.
Professionally Tim’s main interest is cardiology, he particularly enjoys echocardiography. He has operated an internal referral service at Minster Vets for the past 7 years and is now keen to offer this service to practices across Yorkshire.
He is approachable and happy to discuss case investigation & management with colleagues or offer advice on the phone or via email.
Tim undertakes a large amount of CPD each year including specialist cardiology CPD
Jo Malone BVMS MRCVS
Jo qualified from Glasgow University in 1998. She worked for 2 years in a mixed practice then moved to the Minster Veterinary Practice and has been part of the small animal veterinary team for the past 10 years. Jo became a partner in January 2010.
Jo practices acupuncture within the practice and is interested in all aspects of small animal veterinary work. She mainly works out of Willow Grove surgery. Jo has two children and 3 dogs.
Pete Crossan BVMS MRCVS
Pete graduated from Bristol University in 1998. He came to Minster in 2002 and after several years doing everything from hamsters to cows, he decided to concentrate on pets. He has a particular interest in the medical side of things and if you have adopted an animal from the RSPCA you may recognise him as he does a lot of their clinics. He has a young family and they own a beautiful, but grumpy cat. In his spare time he enjoys football, running and playing the piano (badly).

Graeme Stevens BVM&S MRCVS
Graeme joined Minster Vets in March 2012.
Graeme qualified from Edinburgh in 2008 and has been primarily working as a locum for a couple of years including a period working in New Zealand.

Annabel graduated from RVC in 2010 and completed an internship at the RVC as well as working in two different small animal practices prior to joining Minster.
