Tim Shearman BSC BVMS CertVC MRCVS

Tim graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 2000, having already gained a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology in 1995 from the University of Bristol. Initially Tim worked in a rural, predominantly small animal practice before joining The Minster Veterinary Practice in 2002. Tim became a practice Director in 2010. In 2009 Tim was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology after a 5-year period of study.

In his spare time Tim enjoys restoring cars and hill-walking.

Professionally Tim’s main interest is cardiology, he particularly enjoys echocardiography. He has operated an internal referral service at Minster Vets for the past 7 years and is now keen to offer this service to practices across Yorkshire.

He is approachable and happy to discuss case investigation & management with colleagues or offer advice on the phone or via email.

Tim undertakes a large amount of CPD each year including specialist cardiology CPD

Rob Williams MVB CertSAS MRCVS

Rob qualified from University College Dublin in 2001 and has worked in various small animal practices throughout the UK since then. In 2003 he completed an internship at Glasgow Vet School, and in 2008 was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. He has worked at the Minster Veterinary Practice since April 2007.

Outside of work Rob is a keen fly-fisherman and enjoys hiking in the great Yorkshire countryside with his wife and two crazy spaniels Poppy & Amber. He is also a devoted supporter of Munster Rugby.

Professionally Rob’s main interest is small animal surgery and he enjoys all aspects of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

He has operated an internal referral service in surgery at Minster Vets for the last 5 years and is now keen to offer this service to practices across Yorkshire.

He is happy to discuss case investigation and management with colleagues or offer friendly advice on the phone or via email.

Rob undertakes a large amount of CPD every year. He has been a Kyon-registered TTA surgeon since 2009 and has just completed the AO Advanced Course in Orthopaedics.

Jo Malone

Jo Malone BVMS MRCVS

Jo qualified from Glasgow University in 1998.  She worked for 2 years in a mixed practice then moved to the Minster Veterinary Practice and has been part of the small animal veterinary team for the past 10 years.  Jo became a partner in January 2010.

Jo practices acupuncture within the practice and is interested in all aspects of small animal veterinary work. She mainly works out of Willow Grove surgery.  Jo has two children and 3 dogs.
