Emma joined Minster veterinary practice in 1994 after obtaining a National Diploma in Animal Care at Bishop Burton College. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1997 and became a Senior Surgical nurse in 1998 in charge of the medical and surgical area. Emma gained her assessor certificate D32/33 in 2001, which enables her to train and assess student veterinary nurses.
The assessor role changed in 2009 to a clinical coach mentor role which Emma gained in 2009.In 2003 Emma became Head nurse and part of the management team. She is also a dental healthcare advisor, BVNA diabetic advisor and has passed level 1-5 of the Hills Nutritional Advisor programme and obtained her companion SQP July 2009.Emma also passed her small animal nutrition exam in 2007 to obtain a city and guilds certificate in small animal nutrition .
Emma has two daughters and a Red Fox Labrador puppy called Lexi .

Tracey joined Minster Veterinary Practice in 1996 after leaving school. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2001.Tracey gained a foundation in herpetology in 2002, then went on to achieve a city and guilds certificate in nursing of exotic species in 2003.She became a Practice nurse in 2003 at the main surgery; this involves organising and managing Nurse clinics and assisting the vet with consultations. She is also a Petplan insurance advisor, dental healthcare advisor, has passed level 5 of the Hills Nutritional Advisor programme and has studied for the certificate in small animal nutrition. Tracey has a jack Russell cross Border terrier called logie, a rather naughty cat called Boots, a thoroughbred cross Irish horse called taboo and she also keeps tropical and coldwater koi fish. Tracey gave birth to a boy in august 2009 called Sam.
Tracey became a Hills Healthcare advisor in 2005 and went on to win Hills Healthcare advisor of the year in 2005.

Anna joined the Minster Veterinary Practice in 1998, and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2004. I own a lovely big Chestnut Cob (horse) called Popeye, and a very ancient tortoise called Jassie who is fast approaching her 70's! Three mornings a week i get up at the crack of dawn and attend Bootcamp, which is a fitness training class. I also enjoy spending quality time with my horse, Niece and Nephew.

Kate has worked for the practice since 2004 and gained her veterinary nursing qualification with us in 2009. Kate is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to her handsome son Ethan in August 2010, she will be joining us again in March. Kate has a dog called Jess and a cat called Jinx.

After leaving school, Victoria worked for a racehorse trainer in the north-east for 3 years. In 1999 she began working in a small animal practice in Northallerton, North Yorkshire as a student veterinary nurse. Victoria joined the Minster Veterinary Practice in 2003 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2006.
Victoria is also an NVQ Assessor and Clinical coach, She is also an examiner for the RCVS (Small Animal ) OSCE’S. In her spare time Victoria likes to run and ride out for a racing yard in Malton and has a lively terrier called Max.

Claire started working for Minster vets in 2008 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008. She has a keen interest in exotics, especially rabbits. Claire is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to her beautiful little boy Spencer in November 2010. Claire has a Burmese mountain dog called Washington, a rabbit called Lexi and two cats, Robbie and Fudge.
Sally Whitehead

Sally started working for the practice in 2006 as a trainee veterinary nurse. She completed her Animal Nursing Assistant course in 2008 and recently gained her veterinary nurse qualification in January 2011. Sally runs the puppy training classes at the practice and loves it wholeheartedly. She has a lazy cob horse named Ellie, two cheeky jack russells named Lola and Dougie and two cats; Elvis and Katy. Sally enjoys taking part in agility with Dougie and helping out with her family run farm.

Helen has been employed at Minster vets since 2006 and gained her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification in 2007. Helen has now qualified as a RVN in October 2011 and has an elderly Jack Russell named ‘Pigs’ and a cat named Ninge.

Alison has been employed by Minster Vets since January 2006 and gained her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification in 2007. Alison qualified as a RVN in October 2011 and enjoys walking with her Parson Terrier, Bernard.

Katie started work experience in March 2002 with our practice; she was then employed full time in September 2002. Katie worked primarily at our main surgery but in 2008 moved to one of our branches; Willow grove full time. Katie gained her veterinary nursing qualification in September 2009. Katie then went on to complete Amtra training and successfully became an SQP in September 2010. Katie has two dogs; Izzi and Maggie, 2 cats; Dexter and Finlay and 2 rats; Ben and jerry! In her spare time Katie enjoys walking and horse riding.

Zoe has worked as a Veterinary Nurse since 1999 and became a qualified nurse in 2003. She started working for Minster vets in February 2010 after doing a locum position and now works at the Copmanthorpe and Crockey Hill branches. She has an 11 year old Springer Spaniel called Fletcher and 2 guinea pigs she also has a daughter and is currently expecting her second child which is due March 2012.
In her spare time she enjoys walking Fletcher and generally enjoying the outdoors, especially camping during the summer.

Emily has worked for Minster vets for three years. Emily gained her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification in 2009 and is hoping to start her veterinary nurse training in September. Emily spends most of her spare time looking after her horse Bee and field car racing.

Laura joined Minster vets in April 2010 and is currently working as an animal nursing assistant. She hopes to go into veterinary nursing and has a beautiful golden cocker spaniel called Porscha.

Meg has been working for the practice since March 2010, she started life with us as a ‘Sunday girl’, she is now employed as a full time kennel maid with a view in the future to becoming a veterinary nurse. Meg hopes to start her Animal Nursing Assistant course soon. Meg owns a very vocal Cocker spaniel called Gemma.

Katie joined the Minster Veterinary Practice as at Trainee Veterinary nurse in November 2011. Katie previously worked at the Oakbeck Veterinary Hospital and Clinic in Harrogate prior to joining Minster.
